About Us
ASURED International is a development and humanitarian organisation registered on 19th December 2017 as a non-profit organisation with registration number 80020000580668. It was founded by likeminded persons who have worked with different INGOs, local NGOs, local government, private sector and academia with a sole aim of empowering, and building resilience & peace in Africa.
Governance (Board & Management)
The general assembly is the supreme body of the organisation. It appoints the board members. Currently there are five board members.

Our Mission
To provide support, linkages and/or opportunities for individuals and/or groups to enhance their empowerment, resilience and enjoyment of their rights.
Our Vision
ASURED International envisages an empowered, resilient and peaceful Africa where:
• People’s dignity is ensured and rights are respected;
• Basic needs are met and resources are shared equitably;
• People have control over their own lives;
• Those in power act for the common good and
• There is minimal negative effects of climate change felt
Our Values
All of ASURED International’s work is underpinned by the following five values

The Management
The management secretariat is headed by the Executive Director, who is also the secretary to the board.
Accountability
ASURED International is committed to meeting international standards of quality and accountability. Guided by our rights-based approach and programming principles, we focus on ensuring that our partners and the communities we work with have a voice in planning, implementing and evaluating our work.
Being accountable to our stakeholders means ensuring that we share information in a transparent way or, where we are unable to satisfy an information request, providing an explanation. ASURED International shall post strategic plans, annual reports, advocacy policy reports, programme reports, research reports, external evaluations, and media releases
All stakeholders have the right to provide feedback to ASURED International, including a complaint, and to receive a response.
Accountability means recognising and responding to the expectations placed on us by all our stakeholders, these include our programme participants and their communities; our partners, ASURED International staff and volunteers. They also include our supporters, the public, media, donors, host governments, regulators and bodies operating under contract to ASURED International.
Our Finances
ASURED International is committed to being fully accountable to our supporters and funders. Detailed information on our finances, fundraising and governance shall be available on the website.
Our Funders
ASURED International accepts funding from donors whose objectives, mission and values are aligned with our own. In accordance with our core value of accountability, we strive to be accountable, transparent and effective at all times about how we use these resources.
Networks
ASURED International believes in networking as a strategy to information sharing and cross organisational learning. We shall sub scribe to a number of relevant networks.
Annual reports
Since the registration of the organisation, we have not been able to operate due to unforeseen circumstances. This was made worse with the COVID 19 pandemic. We expect to start operations soon.
